(1)     Send detailed drawing of all green part(s)[ unfired or un-sintered] to be pressed along with as pressed, density (green density, not fired or sintered density) and part weight.  Also send tooling sizes (if known) such as: Die inside diameter and Core Pin outside diameter (if part has a cored hole in it.)  List additional comments that may help  PTX to understand your application.

NOTE:  The following must be complied with upon sending any type of powder material to Pentronix for testing.

 

a)    Obtain an RA authorization number from PTX.

 

b)    A completed Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) must accompany any material sent as required by USA  law.

 

c)    All material must be packed in solid type containers, as poor packing may result in spilled and/or contaminated

material.

 

d)     All material must be shipped prepaid unless Pentronix specifies otherwise.

 

e)     When determining the amount of powder to be sent, please consider the speed of the press and the volume of

        compacts.  If you have any questions regarding the amount of powder to send, please contact PTX-Pentronix

        or your local PTX Agent.
